Frequently Asked Questions
You can do this but what I can do will be dependant on how good your scanner is. Generally, unless you have a very high resolution scanner, best results are achieved if I scan your media.
For best result to scan your own work, scan it at a resolution that will be at least 400 dpi when it is at the size you want the finished product (so for negatives, this needs to be quite large).
Use 48 bit colour modes or 16-grey scales for the image for work to be applied to. (24 bit colour or 8 grey scales is suitable for evaluations but keep the DPI high as I need to see what details is available when evaluating work requests).
Use sRGB colour space.
Indicate if you have applied light balance or white balance. If your scanner applies dust removal post scan, use it moderately so that fine detail is not lost.
